Dear Birthmother,
No matter how many times I say it, "thank you" will never feel sufficient; however, that will never stop me from saying it. Thank you for considering me as an adoptive parent. I can only imagine all that you are processing right now. I am so grateful for the care with which you are making this decision for yourself and your baby.
I am grateful you would consider giving me this gift of being a family with your baby as their adoptive mother. Without you, that would not be possible. I am grateful for this baby and who they will grow to become. I eagerly await the opportunity to raise them, love them, and build a life with them.
I commit to loving this baby for all the rest of my days and always reminding them of your love for them too. I will never stop reminding them of the difficult choice you made for them and that you allowed me to choose them too.

My Home
I knew the moment I laid eyes on my home that it was the place for me. With the tree-lined streets, friendly neighbors, and abundant natural light inside, it felt like home immediately. I am within walking distance of state and community parks, the arts, and other local attractions. In my free time, I am often outside on walks in the fresh air, attending events around town, and visiting new coffee shops/restaurants.
My Extended Family
As a child, I was raised in a family that spent Sunday evenings together at my grandparents' house for weekly dinner. My aunt, uncle, cousins, siblings, parents, and grandparents gathered each week to spend quality time and enjoy Grandma's cooking. This instilled in me a deep value, love, and appreciation for my extended family. I am eager to pass down this value to our family's next generation.
While those grandparents have now passed, I am still close to my parents, siblings, siblings-in-law, nieces and nephews, and extended family of aunts, uncles, and cousins. The majority of my family lives within a short distance of one another, and visits with one another are frequent. I also live a close distance from one of my cousins, her spouse, and their sons, so I enjoy weekend visits with them now.
I have lived in a variety of places before settling down in my current home. Throughout those years, I have built a wide community of friends from various walks of life. As each of us now grows our family, we serve as a support for one another as friends and also spouses/parents. For those I do not live near, we make an effort to visit one another at least once a year and stay connected by phone more regularly.
