Thank you so much for looking at our profile and for considering us. You must have a lot on your mind right now. Whatever you decide to do will be the right decision for you and your baby. What you are considering takes courage, thoughtfulness, and love.
We don’t know what it’s like to be in your shoes. What we do know is that you, your family, and your history will forever be a part of this child’s life. We promise to make sure that our child understands where he or she comes from and that the decisions that led to his or her placement come from a place of love.
We have open hearts to welcome a child into our lives. Our friends and family are a diverse and loving group of people excited to support us as parents. Your child will be loved unconditionally. No one can control what life throws at you. However, we are committed to providing all the love, support, encouragement, and resources necessary for our child to be set up for a successful, healthy, and happy life.

Demetrike and Patrick
Our Home
We live in a four-bedroom, four-bath home in a cul-du-sac that backs up to a nature preserve with a small lake. You can see the lake in the winter when the trees lose their leaves. In the summer, there are lots of kids in the neighborhood and a park nearby. We have a dog named Corey. She is a Havanese, a fluffy bundle of joy and energy. Kids from the neighborhood love to play with her. We chose our community for the quality of the schools, healthcare, cultural opportunities, and ethnic diversity.
Our Extended Family
We both come from small immediate families and larger extended families. Demetrike grew up in the city with his mom, little sister, and granny. Granny loves to cook. She came from Louisiana, so she makes the best BBQ, gumbo, and jambalaya. Demetrike’s father died when he was only two years old, so he never knew his dad. He has an older sister from his father’s side and she has two kids.
Patrick grew up on a farm in the country with his mom and dad. His mother came from a large Italian family. They owned a grocery store in the town where his mom now lives. His father took on the family farm, where he still lives today and has horses, chickens, goats, and a duck.
Both our families gather in our home for Thanksgiving. It’s a joy to have everyone together. Other holidays are spent with both families. In the summer, we visit Patrick’s mom, who has a place on a lake, and Patrick’s dad on the farm. Granny hosts a BBQ for Demetrike’s birthday in the summer. We both love to travel and look forward to traveling as a family.
