Dear Birthmother,
Thank you for taking the time to read my profile. I can’t begin to know what this process is like for you. I know this is an incredibly difficult situation. I appreciate your strength and courage to explore this option. I am grateful and thankful for you. Adding to my family would not be possible without you. I am a woman of strong faith, and I do believe God has a plan for each of us. I hope my expressed words of gratitude, thankfulness, and sincere appreciation provide you with encouragement as you navigate such a difficult decision.
I am so humbled to be considered for such a gift. My heart is filled with joy every time I think about the possibility—when I think about being able to give my daughter a sibling, all the experiences we will have as a family, and the everlasting love we will have. Truly words alone do not describe how thankful I am for you.
As you navigate this extremely difficult situation, please know my heart is with you. My home and heart are filled with love. I will provide comfort, protection, guidance, support, and so much love. I take pride in being a mother and an example. I would be honored to welcome your baby into my family and provide all the same love and support as I do for my daughter. Thank you for considering this path, and thank you for being a blessing.
About Me
I am a woman of strong faith and believe at my core that love conquers all. I have always been an inquisitive, driven, optimistic person. I am a widow and mother to a beautiful five-year-old daughter. My daughter, Arie, embodies all the same qualities as I do. She loves to learn and is excited about starting school in the fall. Education is a priority. I ensure she is provided all the opportunities educationally and socially to continue to thrive. We are quite the dynamic duo. We love all things girly. We both enjoy getting our nails and hair done, dance parties at home, shopping, dining out, and having new experiences. We look forward to our future travels both domestically and abroad. Professionally, I am a senior executive leader in healthcare. It is the most rewarding career. I truly have a passion to help people, and I get to do that every day.
My Home
We live in Michigan in a community that is perfect for young families. We have several parks and walking trails, pools and splash pads, libraries and museums, zoos and aquariums, and a host of culturally diverse activities. Arie enjoys tap, ballet, jazz, hip hop, swimming, gymnastics, and track. On weekends we tend to go with the flow. That could mean dinner and a movie or traveling to spend time with nanny in the country.
My Extended Family
We have a small, close-knit family. My mom and dad live only about 1.5 hours away. We FaceTime daily and look forward to getting together. My parents live on a lot of land, so we enjoy bonfires, fishing in the pond, and playing across the creek at what we lovingly call “Camp Nana.”
Holidays are a joyous time for us. We enjoy cooking as a family and just spending quality time together. We wear matching pajamas during the holidays and have sets for every holiday. Decorating the Christmas tree has become something we look forward to. The smell of the fresh pine brings all the feels during the holiday season.
What Led Me To Adoption
In 2017 I was blessed with my daughter Arie. She is my unicorn baby. Just a couple short years later, we welcomed our second daughter, Willow Grace. Willow is my butterfly baby. Unfortunately, we lost Willow when she was three years old, but we are so grateful for the time we had with her. After Willow passed, Arie and I discussed what life might look like now with just the two of us. I was already thinking about adoption, but Arie actually suggested we look into adoption. When she said that, I knew adoption was exactly what we should do. We know we have so much love to share with a baby. I absolutely love being a mom, and Arie is an amazing big sister.
