RACE OF CHILD INTERESTED IN ADOPTING:

Caucasian, Hispanic, Asian, Caucasian/Hispanic, Caucasian/Asian

Dear Birthmother,

I appreciate you taking the time to look at my profile while you are trying to navigate the difficult decision of who will be the best family for your child. The best family for your child may be you deciding to raise your child yourself, someone else who also has a profile, or me. I also want what is best for your child. If I am chosen, I will be forever grateful. I promise they will always know love, will know they are adopted before they can speak, and will grow up in the Christian faith.

I can’t promise they will never get any bumps or bruises growing up. I do promise their hands will get dirty, they will make mistakes, and I will be there to lift them up not just physically but also emotionally. I want your child to know they are loved, know themselves enough to not follow the crowd, and dance to the beat of their own heart.

You will not have to wonder how your child is as I am open to sharing their milestones and progress with you. However, if you choose a closed adoption, that is also okay with me too. Whatever you choose, I hope you are able to find peace with one of the most difficult decisions one could ever make. It takes courage to take a leap of faith and trust the family you have chosen to raise your child. The selfless decision you’re making shows how much you truly love your child.

About

About Me

I have a solid career with great benefits. I am the person at a social gathering who greets the animals first. My niece says we are going to be kids forever, and she isn’t wrong. I love to do all the fun things my niece does: jump in puddles, swing on the swings, play in a bounce house, crawl through all the plastic tunnels, and sit together for some video games. When not with my niece, I enjoy listening to audiobooks, watching documentaries, and camping. I’m currently planning my garden and hope to get some fruit trees. I’m looking forward to harvesting my own apples and baking fresh apple pie.

Home

My Home

I am 20 minutes away from the city but live in a small town. I have a three-bedroom, two-bath house that is 175 years old. My property is at the end of the town, and I have a few acres of land. The school bus stops two houses away from my driveway, and a park is around the corner. I have two dogs: a ten-year-old golden retriever and a four-year-old German shepherd. I have four indoor cats and a barn cat outside. I have stopped fostering cats to focus on adoption.

Extended Family

My Extended Family

My parents are still married. I have one brother, who is married, and they have a daughter. Every Friday we get together at my parents’ house for pizza night, and I usually stay and play with my niece until it’s her bedtime.

We get together for all the holidays and usually do a craft for that holiday. An example would be decorating Easter eggs, making summer wreaths, carving pumpkins, and making gingerbread houses. We also get together once a month outside of pizza night for a board game night. I have four cousins who are all married and have children. Those children range from infant to 12 years old, and the kids all get together for each other’s birthdays. We also get together aunts, uncles, and cousins (44) for the Fourth of July for a pool party and have a bags tournament.

Story

What Led Me To Adoption

I am ecstatic about adopting. I have always wanted to adopt and told myself if I was single at thirty, I would adopt. Instead, I got married and tried the old-fashioned way. After years of trying to have our own child and multiple miscarriages, we decided to divorce. I cannot see my life without being a mother. Being a mother has been the one constant thing I have wanted and never wavered on. After taking the time to heal, I am at peace with my experiences. I look forward to having someone call me Mom. It will be a blessing from God when that day comes.
